PERFORMING THE SPELL
Clear your Mind
Approach the spell with confidence, knowing you are reinforcing a symbol that has long been associated with guarding against the evil eye.
Cleanse the Charm
- Add a layer of black salt to the bottom of the cauldron or a small bowl.
- Place the evil eye charm on top of the salt, then cover it completely with more black salt.
- Leave it in the black salt for 12-24 hours.
Charge the Charm
- Remove the eye from the salt and gently wipe away any residue with your hands.
- Position the evil eye between your hands with the eye facing upward.
- Close your eyes and embrace the knowledge that even while your eyes are closed, the unblinking eye remains open, turning away harmful energy before it ever reaches you.
- Open your eyes and speak the incantation.

After the Spell
Hang the charm where you want ongoing evil eye protection.
Some common areas to hang the eye:
- At your front, back, or bedroom door.
- On a window.
- In your workspace or office.
- As a keychain.
- In your car.
If the charm falls or breaks after it has been hung, it is believed to have fulfilled its protective purpose. Dispose of it respectfully, then replace it with a new one.
