PERFORMING THE SPELL

Write your Petition

With a red pen, write your intention for maintaining faithfulness within your relationship. Keep the petition in the present tense and be specific about your boundaries regarding fidelity, commitment, and the type of attention given outside of your relationship.

General petition example:

[Name] remains completely loyal, faithful, and committed to me and to maintaining trust in our relationship. He/she/they rejects all romantic and sexual interest from others, whether through in-person or digital communication. [Name]’s attraction and devotion are only for me.

Prepare the Candle
  • Carve your partner’s full name and date of birth into the red candle, starting at the top and working toward the base.
  • Anoint the candle with Forget Me Not Oil, moving from the base toward the top.
  • Secure the candle in a candle holder and set it in the center of a fireproof tray.

Cast the Spell

Place your petition underneath the fireproof tray that holds your anointed candle. Set your partner’s taglock on the tray in front of the candle.

Add the spell herbs in the following order, speaking each purpose out loud as you add it:

  • Licorice Root to command your partner to be faithful to you.
  • Lavender Flowers for harmony in the relationship.
  • Pure Catnip to keep your partner’s attention and attraction focused on you.
  • Dried Rosemary protect the relationship from outsider influence.

Light the candle with a match or lighter. Focus on the intention written in your petition and speak the incantation.

Never leave candles or any other burning materials unattended.

The Incantation

Recite the incantation three times.

“No outside desire leads you astray.
All temptation turns away.
Love and devotion guide your actions.
Our relationship holds your commitment.”

After the Spell

Allow the candle to burn down and snuff out the flame. Once the wax has cooled, place the remaining candle wax, your petition, your partner’s taglock, and the spell herbs inside the black spell bag. Keep the bag somewhere safe and private.

Once a month, add one drop of Forget Me Not Oil to the spell bag to keep the spell active and maintain its influence on your partner and relationship.
